The Reserves Win 3-1 against over ND Premier outfit Morwenstowe in pre season friendly. The Robins pre season continued with a 3-1 victory despite a below par performance in the opening 45 minutes in which the only goal came from a Hector Christie Penalty. After some strong words from the manager at half time the robins started to perform to their true potential and created several openings in the early stages of the second half and only some good stops from the visiting keeper kept the score at one nil but he was giving no chance with half hour remaining when Danny Brown was put through and slotted home, the robins continued to dominate and Substitute Ian Keen playing his first game since his injury picked up in last years Cup Final scored with 20 minutes left. Morwenstowe reduced the lead with 15 mins left when the Bideford defence were caught napping and a Visiting forward nipped in between them and Keeper Ali Bright to calmly chipped the ball in to the home sides net. The robins now play there final friendly away to another ND Premier league side Appledore Reserves on Wednesday ,before starting their league campaign away to Kilkhampton on Saturday |
