The reserves win their third game in a row to go second in the table after an impressive 5 - 0 win at home to Combe Martin
Combe Martin arrived at the Sports Ground with only 10 players and where on the back foot from the start. It was no surprise when Hector Christie gave the Robins the lead after 5 minutes .Bideford continued to push forward, but wayward finishing saw several chances go begging. It was 10 minutes before half time before they got their second when Christie got the last touch following a goal mouth scramble. Right on Half Time the lead was increased further when following a well worked short corner Elliott Macdonald headed in Richard Chumbley cross.
The second half was very much like the first, with the visitors camped in their own half and Bideford creating a host of chances. The closest they came to increasing their lead was when defender Simon Langmead ventured forward to unleash a 25 yarder which just missed the target. With the visitors legs tiring the host went four up with 10 mins to go when Ian Keen used his pace to burst through the visitors defence to score. The scoring was completed two minutes later when Christie completed his Hat Trick.
Final score: Bideford Reserves 5 - 0 Combe Martin
